In keeping with past practice, this informal registration system should be supplemented by the deposit with the Secretariat, before the commencement of the meeting, of a formal letter from the appropriate authorities in respect of each delegation, listing the members of the delegation and confirming their power to represent the state, entity or organisation concerned.
