Fifth International Meeting - 10 - 14 March 2008
The fifth international meeting on the establishment of the South Pacific RFMO was held from 10 - 14 March 2008 at the Simon Bolivar Convention Centre in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Meetings of the SWG and DIWG were held during the preceeding week (03 - 07 March 2008).
On 16 January 2008 the Chair of the international negotiations distributed a covering letter with two annexes (Annex A and Annex B) and a third revision of the draft Convention text to participants for consideration at the Guayaquil meeting.
The report of the meeting and associated annexes (Annex A - Agenda, Annex B - Report of the Executive Secretary, Annex C - Report of the DIWG, Annex D - Report of the SWG, Annex E - Report on vessel catch and effort data, and Annex F - List of Participants, are now available in pdf format.
